Home Video Inventory
JUST FOR THE RECORD works with you to create detailed documentation. If you have a loss, we want you to have thorough records. We take the time and care to document your property as though it were our own. We are experienced and fully equipped to efficiently conduct your Home Video Inventory.
When you schedule your inventory:
Step 1 You will receive a packet of tools including lists of the type of property you will want to detail in your inventory and what information should be recorded about these items.
Step 2 On the day of inventory we video record all of your contents, room by room. With the Plus and Premium Plans we prepare on-site logs that include written descriptions, manufacturers, model and serial numbers. Our home video inventory records your items with detailed pans and close-ups. In our Premium Plan we also offer a audio home tour using a wireless microphone to record a client’s personal description of important heirlooms, works of art, collectibles, architectural features, etc. Any items to be included in a will/estate may also be referenced during this process.
Step 3 Once the home inventory is complete; the bulk of the work begins at our office. Your Home Video Inventory is edited and we create a main page which lists each room and the areas outside your home or business. We do this so you can jump to any room without watching the whole video from start to finish. With our Plus and Premium Plans photos and receipts are downloaded into our custom designed software and detailed descriptions and information are incorporated to produce a comprehensive written report as well as an edited video disc. The client receives an inventory portfolio that includes your database and digital pictures on a CD, containing the reports, photos of all items, 1 DVD with edited video with titles and chapters.
Step 4 We upload all your information to a secure server in another state for added protection. You can rest assured that in case you ever need your information it will be backed up.
